Office Accounting Professional and Professional Plus provides foreign currency handling that enables you to deal with customers, suppliers and bank accounts in foreign currency while maintaining your nominal accounts in Sterling.

Enabling Foreign Currency

If you did not turn on foreign currency when setting up your company, you can turn it on at any point in time using the Company preferences on the Company menu.

Check the Use foreign currencies checkbox and click OK. Displaying foreign currency can easily be switched on and off as desired.

Note:The foreign currency functionality is in reality always on, but turning it off again will hide the extra fields and menu options. The transactions remain in the currency they were created in.
