| Installing Office Accounting is a wizard-driven process that makes it simple and straightforward to install. To begin installing: |
| 1. Close all programs. |
| 2. Place the Office Accounting CD into your CD-ROM drive. |
| 3. If Auto run is enabled, Setup will start automatically. If Setup does not start, open Windows Explorer and double-click the Setup.exe file on the CD |

Welcome screen appears. |

Click Yes to begin installation. |
 |
Office Accounting allows you to select a standard installation by selecting Install Now and clicking Install (recommended) or to customise the installation by selecting Customise and clicking   Next. |
If you select to customise the installation, you will see the following step: |

The advanced button will allow you to change the SQL Server instance that is used for Office Accounting (only needed in multi-user installation and installations on the full version of SQL Server 2005). |

Select the database option and click OK. Click   Next . |
 |
The setup wizard will allow you to pick a folder for the installation. Click   Next |
 |
Setup is ready to begin the installation. Click   Install. |
 |
A progress window will be displayed. This process may take several minutes. The setup wizard will then continue with the installation of SQL Server 2005 Express and Office Accounting. Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express will be installed as a named instance (MSSMLBIZ). |

An Installation Complete window will appear. |
 |
To start Office Accounting, leave the checkboxes checked and click   Finish. A Start – Microsoft Office Accounting window will appear. |
